Here you will find information regarding my NHS and Private Practice, contact information and a large amount of (hopefully) educational and informative material.

I am a Consultant General Surgeon based in North West London. My specialties are Gastrointestinal, Laparoscopic (Minimally Invasive) and Daycase surgery, particularly hernia surgery and surgery for skin lesions. I have been extremely fortunate in having been trained by a number of surgical "giants", so that my surgical repertoire is very broad and I am now unusual in the UK in that I have extensive experience in the surgery ofboth the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, and also in emergency and trauma surgery.

My appointment to the NHS is as a full time Consultant in Gastrointestinal and General Surgery at the North West London NHS Trust group of Hospitals (Northwick Park and St Mark's Hospitals, Harrow and Central Middlesex Hospital, Acton).

I have a major commitment to teaching, training and examining, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. As well as teaching on a number of specialist postgraduate surgical courses and training doctors at all levels of seniority, I am also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine. This involves teaching and examining on the MBBS Course, having students attached to my surgical team, and teaching on a number of BSc courses.

My Private Practice is based both in Harrow and Central / North West London. I am fully registered with all the main Health Insurance companies. For skin lesions I offer a "see and treat" service, which includes an initial consultation together with surgery performed under local anaesthetic at the same visit if appropriate.
